Zero Blaster - Blasts Smoke Rings Up To 14 Feet
The Zero Blaster launches 2 to 6 inch diameter non-toxic fog rings that sail up to fourteen feet. Easy to use, it is a great stress buster and with practice you'll be able to create bigger and better rings.
The Zero Blaster uses the same liquid that Hollywood uses in the movies to make special effects fog. Like a snowflake, each fog ring is unique, expanding at its own rate and traveling at its own speed. You'll be captivated by their beauty; mesmerized by the myriad shapes you'll discover in every fog ring you create.
The Zero Blaster will provide hours of good clean fun for children and adults alike.
Zero Blaster ships with 3 ounces of Super Fog-Ring Fluid (cherry scent), enough for more than 25,000 fog rings! Zero Blaster - Replacement Super Fog Fluid also available. Requires 6 AA batteries (not included). You'll receive one of 4 colors chosen at random, Red, Green, Blue or Silver.
A lot of how the Zero Blaster works has to do with your handling of it. There is an element of finesse you are going to gain as you improve and pit your skill against yourself and against others. The Blaster also provides a fascinating insight into the principles of physics. The fog ring is a rotating toroidal (donut shaped) vortex (whirling motion of liquid or air with a low pressure area in the center).
For you technical types - the Zero Blaster has an elastic diaphragm that pushes a burst of air through a small opening. There are other toroidal vortices in our world, but most of the time you can't see them. Toroidal vortices can be made from simple air or water. They require only two things to exist: energy (applied in exactly the right manner) and a medium (air, water - or special effects fog solution). Many machines create their own toroidal vortex. They can occur around the wings of an airplane or in the wake of a boat; inside a centrifugal pump or in rocket blast.

We cracked open one of these Zero Blasters which have been flying off the shelves for the first time since seeing them at a trade show some months back. If this is a gift idea make sure send along 6 AA batteries to go with it. We'll be adding batteries as an option if you want to include them in your purchase for an additional price to make it easy to order and include them.
Anyway, once the batteries are in you just fill in the little area of the Zero Blaster with the supplied Fog Fluid and start shooting rings of fog.
You can set the rings to blast off quick or slow. I like to shoot a slow one then follow it up with a fast one to see if I can get the second ring to go clearly through the first ring. It's definitely a challenge.
Follow the directions on the bottom of the Zero Blaster for optimal fog generation. The rings do go 14 feet but they begin to become deformed after about 7 or 8 I'd say. Lemme try it right now..... about 7 feet I'd say but some will last for longer distances. 14 feet is probably possible on a regular basis in a controlled environment where there is no air movement, unlike your office or kitchen.
There's an option to have the laser gun sound on or off which is nice.
It comes with Fog Fluid that is supposed to last 25,000 rings. Can't confirm that, haven't got that much free time, but we've gotten a few hundred rings from just a couple of ounces of Fog Fluid so far and there's plenty more in the bottle that comes with the Zero Blaster.
Overall, 4 stars for the Zero Blaster. It's fun, it does what it says (except for a few feet on the distance)... okay people at the office are starting to look at me funny, time to put down the Zero Blaster.
